You can continue to pay using UPI, Netbanking, and Credit/Debit Cards on FreeCharge and Merchants accepting FreeCharge without Reactivation of Wallet. If you want to Add Money in FreeCharge Wallet and use it for Payments, you are required to reactivate your Wallet. 


Please follow below steps to reactivate your Wallet.


On Apps:


1. Please go to Accounts Screen, you will see “Wallet Status” as Inactive. Or you may get prompted on Home Screen to Reactivate your Wallet.

2. Tap on “Wallet Status” tile or “Reactivate Wallet” button to procced.

3. You will be asked to enter PAN and/or Name on PAN for verification. On successful verification, you will get an OTP which needs to be verified.

4. Enter OTP received on your Register Mobile Number. Your Wallet will be reactivated instantly on OTP verification.


On Website/Msite, you will find “Wallet Status” under Profile menu. Click on it to start Reactivation process as described above.
