Convenience fee
A nominal fee is charged for payment through credit card, debit card and Netbanking to cover the cost of processing payments.
If part of the payment is made through wallet and remaining amount through credit card or Netbanking, convenience fee will be charged only on the amount paid through credit card or Netbanking,
Convenience fee is currently applicable on DTH recharge, Fastag Recharge, Electricity, Mobile Postpaid, Landline, Broadband, Gas, Water bill payments, Loan Repayments, Municipal Tax, and Credit Card Bill Payments.
Convenience fee is a small percentage of the transaction amount. Therefore, fee may change depending on bill amount.
Convenience fee is not applicable for bill payments through wallet.
In case of refund for partial wallet payment, amount deducted from wallet will be credited back to wallet balance while the remaining amount along with convenience fee will be refunded to the source account used for payment.
Convenience fee and tax description will be part of the payment invoice.
You can avoid paying convenience fees by opting to pay through UPI, Freecharge Wallet or Freecharge Pay Later
In case of transaction failure, the entire amount including convenience fee will be credited to your account.
For certain payment modes, we have to pay high charges for processing. We are charging convenience fee to cover the cost of processing high value payments. Pay through UPI to avoid convenience fee.
