The video KYC process (VCIP), as per RBI guidelines, begins with a customer entering their Aadhaar details and completing their OTP based eKYC. Thereafter, a video call will be established with an agent for verification of the customer’s details. On the completion of this video call, the relevant backend processing shall happen after which the customer’s full KYC shall be declared successful. In case there are any network glitches, OTP issues, delays, etc. the KYC shall be marked as failed and the customer will need to attempt the full KYC process again.
