Mandate amount will be debited from my linked bank account at the time of mandate creation or mandate execution?

When you create a mandate the same amount gets blocked in your linked bank account from mandate start date to mandate end date. However, the amount will only be debited out of your bank account upon mandate execution by the receiver.
