While modifying the mandate I would like to change my bank account to be debited?

Once the mandate is created, you can only modify the amount and end date against the mandate. Per NPCI, change of bank account is not allowed because the amount was already blocked from the bank account at the time of mandate creation.

However, you can cancel the old mandate and create a new one with the changed bank account.
