I don’t remember my UPI PIN for the account. What do I do?
You can reset your UPI PIN using “RESET UPI PIN” feature of the app. To do the same, go to My Account > UPI Settings > UPI linked bank accounts > Reset’. You will be asked to enter the debit card details to set the UPI PIN.
Can I receive money without setting a UPI PIN?
Yes, you can receive money on your UPI ID without setting UPI PIN for the account linked to the UPI ID.
What is the ‘do not notify beneficiary’ option while creating a mandate?
This option gives you freedom to send gift cards to your friends and family without letting them know. You can simply share the QR code with beneficiaries for them to receive your gifts
Is it necessary to have a sufficient amount in my bank account in order to create a mandate?
Yes, your mandate amount cannot exceed the balance in your bank account. For example if you are creating a mandate of rupees 5000 then the link bank account that you are using should have a minimum balance of rupees 5000.
What can be a UPI ID?
UPI ID can be alphabetical, numeric or alphanumeric. It should be between 4-20 characters. It cannot contain any special characters (*,#,@ etc.) except dot(.) and hyphen(-) which are permissible. Your unique ID should be easy to remember such as mobilenumber@freecharge.

How do I delete a bank account from Freecharge UPI?
To delete an account: Select UPI settings in ‘My Account’ section. Select UPI linked bank accounts option. Click on the three dots and select the option to delete bank account. Select the accounts to delete and click delete account.
