How do I delete my saved contact under UPI?
To delete a contact: Select the option of ‘Delete beneficiary’ under My Account > UPI settings Select the beneficiary to delete and then click on Delete beneficiary
What is the intent feature?
Intent feature is an app in app invoke functionality that allows Freecharge users to invoke another BHIM UPI application on their phone like (Bhim,Google Pay, Phonepe etc.) in order to complete UPI payment.
What all modes of payments are supported using intent feature?
Intent feature only supports UPI payments.
What is the benefit of intent feature?
Intent feature will allow you to continue with UPI payments even if you are not a registered UPI user of Freecharge. However users will always have the option to register and pay via Freecharge.
Why am I not able to deregister my Freecharge UPI ID?
De-registration is not allowed if you have active mandates. Please check for any active mandates on your Freecharge app. In case you are payer, you need to revoke all your mandates before deregistering yourself. In case of a merchant initiated mandate, the payer cannot deregister...
Is it mandatory to register for freecharge UPI in order to use intent functionality?
No, you can simply invoke another BHIM UPI application from your android device to complete the payment.
I would like to change my default bank account for UPI on Freecharge app. Can I do that while there are active mandates on my list?
Yes, you can change your default bank account anytime. However, the mandate will be executed on the account which was used at the time of mandate creation.
