When you create a mandate the same amount gets blocked in your linked bank account from mandate start date to mandate end date. However, the amount will only be debited out of your bank account upon mandate execution by the receiver.

Yes, your mandate amount cannot exceed the balance in your bank account. For example if you are creating a mandate of rupees 5000 then the link bank account that you are using should have a minimum balance of rupees 5000.
The mandate amount will be credited to the default bank account linked to your Freecharge app.
You can change the UPI PIN for your account using “CHANGE UPI PIN” feature of the app. To do the same, go to My Account > UPI Settings > UPI linked bank accounts > Change’.
You can reset your UPI PIN using “RESET UPI PIN” feature of the app. To do the same, go to My Account > UPI Settings > UPI linked bank accounts > Reset’. You will be asked to enter the debit card details to set the UPI PIN.
UPI ID is an unique identifier which you create and link to any of your bank accounts to make secure payments. The unique ID can be mobilenumber@freecharge or yourname@freecharge etc. which is easy to remember.
Yes, you can create the mandate with the same start date and end date however if the start date and end date are on the same day, then the mandate will expire at time 23:59:59.
